Czech Republic/Brazil - TatraBras of Curitiba, State of Parana - a newly-formed Brazilian subsidiary of off-road truck builder, Tatra Trucks AS of Koprivnice, Czech Republic (a CGS Aerospace company) - has signed an agreement with the Parana State government to build a truck manufacturing facility in Ponta Grossa (PS); this is the same city where DAF do Brasil produces its trucks. This is of significance because DAF's parent company, DAF Trucks NV of Eindhoven, Netherlands supplies Tatra Trucks with truck cabins and Paccar MX engines: DAF do Brasil produces the XF and CF trucks in Ponta Grossa as well as the MX engine range.
