Large piling rigs mounted on barges just off the coast of Dover are over half way through installing 700 marine piles, which are starting to form the outline of a new port and marina at the town's Western Docks. Work is being carried out to provide new facilities for cargo ships, which currently compete for space with ferries in the Eastern Docks.
