Development of antimicrobial paints for the building industry

摘要

At present, the sanitization of the environments has become a very topical issue. Data from the European Economic Community show that in hospitals one patient out of ten suffers from infections called "nosocomial" resulting in a stay in hospital which is longer about 10 million days per year, just in Europe. One of the methods which can be used is the utilization of materials for the building industry which can be effective as antibacterial as well as anti-mould products.
