And while everyone can agree that accelerating "digital transformation" initiatives will be good for the bottom line; the reality is that almost all oil and gas companies are in cash conservation mode -which limits their appetite for transformation projects. Fortunately for pipeline Operators, their business model is moving in the opposite direction. First, pipeline and storage companies are seeing their cash balances grow as a large percentage of contracted volumes are under long-term contracts.
