摘要

A general, facile, and efficient method for the synthesis of pyrrolo[3,4-b]quinolines is presented. The reactions pathway involve one-pot three-component reactions of beta-enamino imides, aromatic aldehydes, and dimedone catalyzed by trifluoroacetic acid, under conventional thermal heating or ultrasounds irradiation, as nonconventional method of synthesis. It is shown that under ultrasounds irradiation, the reaction time decreases significantly (from hours to minutes) and, in some cases, the yields are much better.
