Seminar on Specialty Fertiliser and its Importance in Agriculture

The Fertiliser Association of India Eastern Region (FAI-ER) organized a one-day Seminar on "Specialty Fertiliser and its Importance in Agriculture" at Hotel Royal Sarovar Portico, Siliguri, Darjeeling on 17th March, 2017. Dr. P. Bhattacharya, Director of Agriculture, Government of West Bengal, inaugurated the seminar. Dr. A.K. Sinha, Head, Department of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry, Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya (UBKV), Pundibari, West Bengal, was the Guest of Honour. Mr. V.S. Sirohi, Chairman, FAI-ER and Marketing Director, KRIBHCO, Noida, Uttar Pradesh presided over the inaugural ceremony. Thirty-two officials from the State Department of Agriculture, Government of West Bengal, senior officials from the Fertiliser Industry, UBKV and agro-input dealers attended the programme.
