Loadings fall in February

LNG exports from Peru’s 4.4mn t/yr Pampa Melchorita liquefaction facility slowed last month from a year earlier, with its entire output heading to Asia. Peruvian loadings fell to 281,022t of LNG last month, down from 358,173t a year earlier and slightly below the 286,034t that the country exported in January, oil regulator Perupetro data show. Loadings at Pampa Melchorita have slowed in recent months, after reaching an 11-month high in December when the facility loaded 438,903t - well above its monthly nameplate capacity of 370,000t.
