The COVID-19 pandemic has brought into sharp focus the devastating consequences people can have on our global well-being. It is therefore important and fitting that Canadian Geographic Education has boosted its engagement with its network of Canadian teachers to highlight the importance of the Anthropocene education program. (The Anthropocene is considered by some to be the current geological epoch, in which people are the primary cause of planetary change.)
