China November LPG imports up 28% on PDH growth

Singapore-China’s net LPG imports in November rose 28% month on month to around 1.5 million mt, and 81% from the same period a year ago, driven by stronger demand from the country’s propane dehydrogenation plants. China’s total propane and butane imports increased 22% month on month to 1.6 million mt in November, while exports decreased 28% month on month to 99,981 mt last month, according to S&P Global Platts calculations based on latest General Administration of Customs data Tuesday.
