China increasing LPG imports on new PDH capacity

With the startup of up to 1.7MM mt/y of new PDH capacity in the country,China is expected to step up imports of LPG this year.According to data from S&P Global Platts Analytics,Chinese LPG demand is expected to grow by around 4% this year from 2018 levels.A source with China Gas said this new PDH capacity should add about 1.0MM mt/y of propane demand in the country this year.
