Russian gas exports to Europe, Turkey hit high

London—Russian gas supplies to Europe and Turkey hit a new daily record of 579 million cu m on Tuesday, gas giant Gazprom said Wednesday, as competitive prices continue to trigger European demand for Russian gas. Gazprom’s supplies to Europe and Turkey— but not including the ex-Soviet states—were already up by 1.1 Bcm in the period October 1-15, and have continued to beat year-on-year levels.
