Noble touts new onshore, offshore exploratory plays

Houston—Noble Energy is preparing to explore three US and international frontier oil plays, both offshore and onshore, as potential drivers for its growth in the latter half of this decade and beyond. The plays, offshore the Falkland Islands, the eastern Mediterranean and in northeast Nevada, will be drilled between now and second-half 2014, company CEO Chuck Davidson said October 11 in a conference call with analysts.
