Pakistan, Qatar Ink LNG Deal

Pakistan has finalized a 15-year LNG supply deal with Qatar worth $16 billion, Pakistan Petroleum Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi told reporters on the sidelines of an industry event in Doha on Monday. The long-negotiated deal has been pending due to a disagreement over pricing (IOD Nov.5'15). However, Abbasi said that the two parties have reached an agreement and now expect the first shipment of the 1.5 million ton/ yr deal to be delivered by December.
