SCG expands packaging operations in the Philippines

Siam Cement Group (SCG; Bangkok, Thailand), a major producer of cement, chemicals, and packaging, announced to expand its packaging paper operations at its subsidiary United Pulp and Paper Co (UPPC). SCG plans to add around 230,000 metric tons/year to its existing operations located at Calumpit, Bulacan, the Philippines.
