Sealed Air fires CFO as part of SEC probe

Packaging maker Sealed Air Corporation (Charlotte, North Carolina) today fred CFO William Stiehl “for cause,” in relation to a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC; Washington, DC) investigation. The fring is efective immediately. Sealed Air says it received in a subpoena from the SEC last month requesting information on how the company selected its’ independent audit frm starting with the 2015 fscal year and “relating to the independence of that audit frm.”
