Hyosung to invest 1 trillion won in carbon fiber manufacturing complex

Hyosung Group (Seoul, South Korea) said on Tuesday that it would invest 1 trillion won ($827 million) in a carbon fiber manufacturing complex over the next 10 years. The company’s Hyosung Advanced Materials unit will build the facilities at Jeonju, south of Seoul, by 2028. The 10-line complex will have a production capacity of 24,000 metric tons/year.
