Clariant opens masterbatch plant in China

Clariant has announced the opening of a production plant for masterbatches at Guangzhou, China. The plant, which is dedicated to the manufacture and supply of specialty black masterbatches that are in high demand in a variety of consumer goods sectors, is particularly aimed at the fast-growing market in China. The company is investing 5 million Swiss francs ($4.95 million) in the plant.
