Workshop on dangerous goods handling to be organised by JNPT-Antwerp Port training centre

JNPT APEC Port Training Centre & Consultancy Foundation, which is a collaborative initiative of APEC - the training school of Antwerp Port Authority and JN Port - is organising a workshop on 'Handling of dangerous goods' at its premises from 12-14 February 2020. The workshop will cover the topics like scope & implementation of the IMDG code; SOLAS (Safety of Life at Sea) convention on the maritime transport of dangerous goods; danger properties and classification of danger- ous goods; marking & labelling; requirements for the construction and use of packaging, IBCs, tanks, etc; stowage & segregation; documents, etc.
