摘要

The need to extend the power range of asynchronous capacitor motors is substantiated. The method of their automated design is described. The main emphasis is placed on the suppression of additional asynchronous and synchronous torques which have an adverse effect on the mechanical characteristic of the motor and cause variations of the starting torque as the rotor turns. The influence of the contact resistance "the rod - the magnetic core of the rotor", the degree of ellipticity of the field during the start-up, the choice of the winding and the slot skewing are investigated. An example of automated design of a 6,3 kW asynchronous two-pole capacitor motor is given. The experimental results obtained for a prototype model confirm the validity of the mathematical model used.
