Analysis of the principles of designing automatic process control systems for the electrical equipment of electric power plants

The principles of constructing digital control systems in the electric power industry are analysed andthe distinguishing features of the architecture of these systems with reference to the heat andelectrical equipment of electric power plants are considered. It is shown that, for designing integralautomatic control systems for electric power facilities and systems, the methods of integration ofindividual control subsystems must be standardized.
