摘要

The behaviour of longitudinal power systems (power pools) exposed to the negative effects of the moments of the nonconservative forces due to the damper windings of the generators is investigated using numerical methods. It is shown that. if the excitation control of the generators in such systems is not strong enough, the behaviour of such systems depends in much on the small parameters. For this reason, large power pools with such control cannot be regarded as potentially stable. The negative effect due to the moments of nonconservative forces can only be suppressed by means of strong excitation control of the generators, in which feedback control signals proportional to the derivatives of the operating parameters are used.
