Improving the characteristics of induction motors with solid ferromagnetic rotors

摘要

To improve characteristics of induction motors with solid ferromagnetic rotors it is proposed to use double-layer rotors. The external layer of such a condtruction is a massive bush. Electromagnetic properties of' materials of such a bush, which inure the best electromechanical parameters, are given. Optimizational calculations have shown that motors with double-layer rotors can be constructed in dimensions of conventional squirrel-cage motors at the same requirements for the starting torque.
