摘要

Exposure to blood and body fluids is a serious occupational concern for health care workers and represents a major risk for the transmission of human immunodeficiency virus. Conditions and practices in the operating room (OR) may increase the risk of occupationally acquired disease transmission. In Singapore, there are no studies describing the compliance of OR nurses with standard and transmission-based precautions. We aimed to identify factors associated with OR nursing staff compliance with these precautions.
