Transient factor and gas mixing in engine intake manifold

The article proceeds with the discussion of transient factor existence, held in this magazine in late eighties. New information is offered concerning the behavior of air/gas mixture, which enters the combustion chamber during engine crankshaft acceleration. The dependence is shown to exit between transient factor and air/gas proportion.
