Younger's word processing methods and their evaluation

More flexible and advanced natural language processing systems need to process unknown words i.e. younger's words that have attributes of creativity, diversity, and ambiguity. From this point of view, we are involved in research on younger's words and their processing methods, and have already proposed two processing methods of Abbreviated type and Derivational verb type. In this paper, we report processing methods and evaluation of processing systems of younger's words. As results, the rate of success of Abbreviated type processing method is 77.7%, and that of Derivational verb type processing method is 83.9%. Fundamental validity of the methods was confirmed.
