Design and implementation of a hardware scheduler with real-time monitoring function

摘要

We construct a hardware scheduler which monitors the condition of a running processor in real-time. The purpose of the scheduler is to keep the hard deadline strictly and to shorten response time. The hardware scheduler, which replaces the software scheduler built in the real-time operating system, traces status of realtime task changing frequently and performs robust real-time scheduling. Our results show that the hardware scheduler reduces the steps which requires to schedule tasks.
