摘要

Current-feedback magnetic multivibrators are highlyefficient and reliable. However, these circuits have no ability toprotect themselves from overloading, and the oscillation frequencychanges with the load current. We previously proposed animproved multivibrator with overload protection frequencycompensation. In this paper, the condition for cessation ofoscillation and that for fixed frequency of oscillation are derivedby using our model of bipolar junction transistors. This modeltakes account of power dissipation, because the common-emitterstatic forward current transfer ratio and the junction voltagesdepend on the junction temperature.
