We would like to highlight a further case of inaccurate labelling of medical gas cylinders [1]. The anaesthetic machine in our Magnetic Resonance Imaging unit is supplied with cylinders of oxygen and nitrous oxide from BOC Medical (Worsley, Manchester, UK). These cylinders are both size AZ, suitable for use within the Magnetic Resonance Imaging environment. Confusingly, both oxygen and nitrous oxide are given a green body colour. The shoulder colour (white and blue, respectively) and collar labels conform to European regulations [2].
