TADS/PNVS is replaced by the M-TADS/PNVS, otherwise known as the Arrowhead, for most international sales. Very limited sales possible to nations that are not approved for M-TADS/PNVS or as spares. Despite being phased out by the Arrowhead, the TADS/PNVS will remain in use for many years to come, driving operation and maintenance funding. The Target Acquisition and Designation Sight/Pilot Night Vision Sensor (TADS/PNVS) is an all-weather electro-optical sighting and targeting system for attack helicopters.
