Kinetic Parameters of a Chemical Process and the Choice of a Poloymerization Reactor

By using the cationic polymerization of piperylene as an example,it was shown that a difference in kinetic parameters for the same chemcal reaction occurring in the presence of catalysts with varying activity also required differenct approaches to the choice of a type and design of th ebase reactor.Obviously,preference should be given to the most active catalyst syste,which allows high-performace,power-and resource-saving technologies to be developed usin gunique tubular turbulent reactors operating in the quasi-plug-flow mode.
