The EUROPEAN ALUMINIUM AWARD has received 52 innovative products from 18 countries, of which 19 were nominated. The award will be presented at ALUMINIUM 20I6. Nominated products range from a body for an electric vehicle (AII-AI light eBody -Hydro Rolled Products, Germany) to a 3D-printed motorcycle (Light Rider 3D-printed motorcycle -Niels Grafen TU Miinchen / Airbus APWorks, Germany), and from a wind-protection wall (Aluminium Windwall - Bayards Aluminium Constructions, Netherlands) for offshore oil rigs to a high-tech building facade designed by star architect Zaha Hadid. What they all have in common is that they integrate aluminium in a new and innovative way.
