摘要

Single phasic MoV(Te)(Nb)O mixed oxides have been synthesized by hydrothermal method. The particular orthorhombic arrangement of elements was clearly superior to other MoV-based layer oxide catalysts in propane and propene selective oxidations. The role of each element was emphasized by comparison of binary MoVO, ternary MoVTeO and quaternary MoVTeNbO. Whereas Mo and V were clearly responsible for the network creation and for the catalytic activity, Te could bring an oxygen insertion function to the catalyst, resulting in a high selectivity to acrylic acid. Nb was rather minimizing the overoxidation rate of acrylic acid to COx.
