OAO TMK's pipe shipment volumes declined in the first quarter because of a slump in deliveries of large-diameter and welded industrial pipes. The Moscow-based steel pipe producer supplies largediameter pipe primarily to Russian energy giant Gazprom for pipeline projects, a company spokesman said, but shipments to Gazprom “are quite uneven and can vary from month to month.”
