New varieties and hybrids bred at the All-Russian Institute of Vegetable Crop Breeding and Seed Production.

The following vegetable crop varieties bred at the Institute and added to the state register in 1996 are described: the carrot hybrid variety Mars; the onions Zolotnichok and Rannii Rozovyi; the dill (Anethum graveolens) Salyut; Ocimum basilicum cv.Gvozdichnyi; the fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) Udalets; the sweet pepper F1 hybrid variety Ruza; the leek Asgeos; and the daikon radish Dubinushka.
