摘要

GPS is one of the navigation system. While GPS is clearly the most accurate worldwide all-weather navigation system, it still can exhibit significant errors. Differential GPS (DGPS) and Real Time Kinematics GPS (RTK-GPS) positioning techniques are developed to achieve meter and centimeter accuracy respectively. Both DGPS and RTK-GPS system require a wireless transmission line to send a correction data from reference station. Satellite link seems an effective measure to provide an uniform service for wide area with limited frequency bandwidth. To examine the effectiveness of satellite link for GPS positioning system, we developed an experimental system. Experimental results show that positioning accuracy for DGPS and RTK-GPS are approximately meter and centimeter, respectively. This paper introduces the experimental system and describes fundamental performance of the system.
