NEW YORK - Canadian junior nickel miner CaNickel Mining Ltd. produced 406,687 pounds (184.5 tonnes) of nickel in concentrate at its Bucko Lake nickel mine in Manitoba, up 79.4 percent from 226,729 pounds (102.8 tonnes) in January as it milled 70 percent more ore during the month. The Vancouver, British Columbia-based company has produced 633,416 pounds (287.3 tonnes) of nickel year to date, after producing a total of 1.63 million pounds (740.2 tonnes) in 2011.
