Development of High-Speed Automated Guided Vehicle(AGV)for Heavy Load

The need for long distance transport insteel manufacturing plants has increased, making itimportant to develop 1. high speed automated guidedvehicles (AGV) and 2.AGV control. The AGV has 4 largeaxles suited to high-speed travel, anelectric diesel drive, and AC-servo-controlled motors.The AGV uses discontinuous magnetic navigation andlaser based obstacle detection. IZGV control is awide-scale divided network with spread-spectrum radiocommunication remotely maintained throughtelecommunication. The total transport distance isabout 4 000 m. Travel is at 10km/h, straight travelaccuracy is ±50mm, and stop accuracy is I30nim.
