Latest Technology for Steel Penstock of Pumped Storage Power Station

摘要

The recent increase of large scale pumped storage power station projects has been remarkable and we continue our research and development in order to meet the demand. In our designs we have reduced the design period of bifurcation which needs the longest period unifying drafting. analysis and manufacturing data by a three dimentional design system. In the erection, we eliminated the need for work outside the penstocks by MU-system, the automatic, one-side, all-position field penetration welding system with newly developed automatic outside weld bead inspection and repair equipment. We reduced erection cycle time 16 days to 10 days by the simultaneous working of MU-system welding and filling concrete.
