摘要

In this paper, we propose the OOK-CDMA system with optical hard-limitter(OHL) which transmits the optical pulses with multiple amplitude levels. In the proposed system, by applying the variable splitter in the transmitter side, an optical pulse induced in the optical source is divided into the optical pulses with multiple amplitude levels. In the high-level weighted position; OHL with the high-level threshold value is easier to eliminate the Multiple Access Interference(MAI) with low amplitude, so the proposed system can increase the ability of interference canceller of OHL than the conventional system. We analyze the performance of the proposed system and show that the proposed system has better bit error probability than the conventional system.
