摘要

The cold flow experiments are made in a two-dimensional dump diffuser. Flow behavior over a flame dome head and its reattachment to the inclined wall are presented, when a distorted flow is provided at the diffuser inlet. A Laser-DopplerVelocimeter is used for the velocity measurements. The effect of two types of inclined wall in a sudden expansion region on the diffuser performance are clarified. Throat area between inclined wall and flame dome head is the dominant parameter affectingboth the total pressure loss and the distribution characteristics of the flow rate into the branched channels.
