The effect of hydrothermal reaction temperature at the range 100 to 250℃ on the structural properties of One-dimensional (1D) TiO_2 nanotubes synthesized using (10 M NaOH) alkaline and TiO_2 nano particles (50nm) in a Teflon lined stainless steel autoclave were investigated, under fixed reaction time (48 hours) for all sample preparations. The changes in crystal structure and shapes were studied using atomic force microscope (AFM), scanning electron microscope (SEM), and X-ray diffraction(XRD).As a result, TiO_2 nanotubes partially formed at 100℃ and converted totally to 1D structure (tubes, wires or rods) above 150℃, the crystallinity, and phase transformation of the samples were also affected by the autoclaving temperature.
