Increase of Service Life of Dies for Manufacturing Stamped Pieces of Track-Type-Vehicle Running Gear Parts

摘要

There are presented the results of experimental investigations directed to increase service life of hot-stamping crank press dies. Die cavity fusing of 5XHM steel dies by УОНИ-13 electrodes is shown to be effective while manufacturing profile-composite forgings with thin-wall elements. For dies of 4X5M#PHI#C steel, it is effective double-layer chromium-plating of die cavity and gaseous-detonation coating.
