A review on recent special steels (part 2)(tool steels, heat resistant steels and high alloys )

摘要

This decade has been turbulent one encountered with the collapse of bubble economy and global environmental problem. Corresponding to the drastic change in user's demands wide variety of new materials have been developed in the field of toolsteels, heat resisting steels and titanium alloys. In tool steels, fir example, cost reduction and process simplification are becoming more and more important besides the pursuit of high performance and long life steels. In heat resisting application,many grades with specific features have been developed to meet divers requirements.
