How to Enhance the Innovative Drive of Start-Ups

For some time now there has been a lot of talk regarding Open innovation and Industry 4.0 / loT (meant as integration of objects in a universal network, a sort of fusion between real and virtual worlds) but it is not always clear what these issues are all about. The main challenge for companies is surviving through innovation: the difference between small and large enterprises has grown over the years, causing difficulties and problems especially for small and medium enterprises, which lack the capabilities, firstly from a cultural and secondly from an economic standpoint, to nurture and subse-quently support carefully and effectively their innovativ cesses. The distribution of this knowledge is unequal, f av and enhancing the difference in opportunities and in the urn term the disappearance from the market.
