In order to reduce PM emission from existing diesel vehicles by means of changing fuel, effects of diesel fuel properties and fuels adding oxygenated chemicals on PM were investigated. Lowering distillation such as light dic5el fuel, by blending kerosene is more effective and possible way to reduce PM emission. The light diesel fuel is comparable with so-called city diesel fuel, class t fuel and CARB fuel for reducing PM emission.
