摘要

In this paper, we extend Guided-Mode Extracted Integral Equations (GMEIEs) to two-dimensional multimode dielectric waveguide circuits. We consider the case that the incident wave is TM guided modes. The GMEIEs can be solved by the conventional-method of moments Without using the mode-expansion technique of an open structure. We also perform computer simulations of sharp-bends which consist of two or three-mode dielectric waveguides, in order to confirm the validity of the proposed GMEIEs numerically. Results of computer simulation satisfy the energy conservation law and the reciprocity relation. The results confirm the validity of the GMEIEs for computer aided design of multimode dielectric waveguide circuits.
