A study of IP provisioning server for QoS assured services

Recently, with the expansion of the Internet, IP networks have become to be applied for mission critical applications and multimedia applications that require high-level Quality of Services (QoS). QoS mechanisms for IP network and QoS management architectures based on Policy-Based Network Management (PBNM) have been developing. In this paper, we describe the requirements enable to provide QoS based on PBNM in carrier class IP network. Furthermore, prototype implementation is also described.
