The tube type "Silk shell" is produced by reeling cocoon filaments on the tube type wheel. The authors simulated the cocoon filaments reeling pattern performance on the wheel by a computer. On the basis of simulation results, "Silk shell" was actually reeled. The reeling pattern performance of "Silk shell" is changed by the parameters of circumference of wheel (mm), rotation velocity of wheel (rpm), traverse width (mm) and traverse frequency (times/min). Here, the authors simulated the reeling performance of "Silk shell" by changing a parameter of traverse frequency. As a result, the actual reeling performance was almost as same as the simulation result. Therefore, the reeling method based on the simulation results is made for the use of production the tube type "Silk shell" and the flat type silk material, cut and spread a part of the tube type "Silk shell".
