Reeling-machines.-Silk filaments are supplied to reeling-machines by means of toothed wheels 1, 9, which are rotated in the same direction and are mounted on the guide tube 6 of the machine and on an axle 13. A cocoon, with its filament loosened, is dropped near the wheel 9 which carries the filament within range of teeth on the wheel 1 by which it is drawn towards the tube 6 and united with the filaments e being reeled, the end between the wheels being automatically severed thereby.
