摘要

The paper demonstrated the addition of 2--4 mkg/ml of the venom of Boophilus calcaratus to one of tile sections of the experimental cell has caused a spasmodic increase in the membrane conductance. The further increase in the amount of the venom was accompanied with decrease in lifetime of the membrane, i. e. it underwent destabilization and destruction. A gradual decrease in the respiration rafe in the isolated mitochondria of rat liver was noted upon the application of up to 250 mkg/mg. Data obtained witness that the venom of the mite Boophilus calcaralus contains components able to form single channels in BLM and to modify mitochondrial membranes.
